PV DC Combiner Box TDJB-A /TDJB-B

The photovoltaic (PV) combiner box is usually set up on location, in close proximity to the solar panel array. Its primary function is to consolidate the direct current (DC) power generated by multiple PV module strings into one or a small number of circuits that deliver output with higher current. After this consolidation, the resulting power output is sent to the inverter or subsequent equipment (like a DC distribution cabinet) through a single, thicker cable.

    Technical Data

    PV DC Combiner Box
    IP65 DC SPD
    600V/1000V DC lsolator Switch/DC MCB
    PC+ABS DC Fuse

    Product Introduction

    Photovoltaic combiner boxes usually need to be installed on site, and the installation location is close to the solar panel array. Its core function is to aggregate the DC outputs generated by multiple photovoltaic module strings and convert them into one or several output circuits with larger currents. Afterwards, these summarized outputs will be transmitted to the inverter through a thicker cable or to the next stage of equipment (such as a DC distribution cabinet).

    Core functions

    Lightning protection device (SPD): It can prevent damage to equipment caused by lightning strikes or surge overvoltage.

    Intelligent monitoring unit: Integrated monitoring function, capable of real-time data collection.

    Input circuit: connected to the AC output terminal of the inverter, the circuit is equipped with:

    AC circuit breaker: As the main input switch, it can protect the circuit on the inverter side.

    Output circuit: responsible for transmitting electrical energy to the grid or load, equipped with:

    Grid connected circuit breaker: equipped with undervoltage tripping and undervoltage tripping functions. When the power grid malfunctions (such as a power outage), the circuit breaker will immediately trip automatically, isolating the photovoltaic system from the grid and avoiding the reverse transmission of electrical energy to the disconnected grid, thereby ensuring the safety of operation and maintenance personnel.

    Electric energy meter: used to accurately measure the amount of electricity transmitted from photovoltaic systems to the grid (i.e. electricity generation) and the amount of electricity consumed from the grid, and is an important basis for electricity bill settlement.

    Voltage/current meter: able to visually display the operating parameters of the system.

    Surge Protection Device (SPD) on the AC side: Provides surge protection for the AC side.

    ELCB/Residual Current Device (RCD): It can prevent the risk of electric shock to personnel and avoid equipment leakage problems.

    Product Features

    The protection level reaches IP65 or above;
    Made of PC and ABS materials;
    Has UL94V-2 flame retardant performance;
    Can protect photovoltaic modules from the effects of short circuits, overloads, and lightning surges;
    Not only can it achieve overload and short circuit protection, but it can also be used for infrequent switch operations under normal working conditions.
