    Product Introduction

Talemod DC isolating switch is an important safety and operation electrical device in DC power distribution system. Its core design purpose is to provide an "air break point" after other equipment interrupts the current, thus achieving safe isolation of the circuit.

    Core Features

Equipment inspection and maintenance: After opening the disconnector, the clear disconnect gap formed by the contact points provides the highest level of safety for personnel and prevents electric shock accidents.
System operating mode switching: In complex DC power distribution networks, disconnectors are used to energize or de-energize circuits, enabling equipment or lines to be put into or taken out of operation. This enables different operating modes to be implemented or isolate faulty sections.
Emergency power-off point: In an emergency, personnel can manually operate the isolation switch to quickly cut off the power supply, serving as a reliable manual safety barrier.

    Product Characteristics

Provide a visible disconnection point: Ensure that in the "off" state, there is a sufficient safe insulation distance between the active contact point and the stationary contact point, and the disconnection state is clearly visible.
Carrying rated current: In the "on" state, the contacts of the disconnector must reliably and continuously carry the maximum continuous operating current of the system without overheating.
Withstand short-term current surges: Disconnectors must possess a certain level of dynamic and thermal stability to withstand short-circuit current surges for a short period of time until the upstream protection device operates to clear the fault. This ensures that the disconnector itself is not damaged in the event of a fault.
Strict "no-load" or "low arc" operation: Switching operation under load is strictly prohibited.
