Core functions
Equipment maintenance safety guarantee: After disconnecting the isolation switch, a clear and visible disconnection gap will be formed at its contact point. This design can provide the highest level of safety protection for maintenance personnel, fundamentally preventing the occurrence of electric shock accidents and enabling equipment maintenance operations to be carried out in a safe environment.
System operation mode switching: In complex DC distribution networks, isolation switches play an important role in controlling the on/off of circuits - by supplying or disconnecting power to the circuit, specific equipment or lines can be put into operation or exited from the system. With this function, it is possible to switch between different operating modes of the system, as well as quickly isolate faulty sections and reduce the scope of fault impact.
Emergency power-off safety barrier: In the face of sudden emergency situations, staff can quickly cut off the power transmission path by manually operating the isolation switch. As a reliable manual safety device, it can provide critical protection for system and personnel safety in emergency situations.
Product Features
Having visible disconnection points: When the switch is in the "OFF" state, an insulation distance that meets safety standards will be formed between the moving and stationary contacts, and the disconnection status is clear at a glance, making it easy for staff to visually confirm the circuit isolation situation.
Capable of carrying rated current: In the "ON" state, the contacts of the isolation switch need to stably and continuously carry the maximum continuous operating current of the system, while ensuring that there is no overheating phenomenon and guaranteeing the stability of current transmission.
Tolerant short-term current surge: The product needs to have certain dynamic and thermal stability. Even if it encounters short-circuit current surge, it can withstand the current surge briefly without damage before the upstream protection device starts and clears the fault, ensuring its reliability in fault scenarios.
Strictly limit operating conditions: It is strictly prohibited to perform switch operations under load, and only allowed to complete on-off actions under "no-load" or "low arc" conditions to avoid safety risks or equipment damage caused by improper operation.
