Product Overview
The Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD) is an electrical safety protection device developed based on intelligent arc identification technology. Its core purpose is to prevent electrical fires caused by series arcs, parallel arcs, and ground faults. By combining high-frequency sampling technology with arc signature analysis algorithms, the device can accurately distinguish between dangerous arcs and arcs generated during normal equipment operation, and disconnect the faulty circuit within milliseconds. Compared to traditional circuit breakers and residual current devices, the AFDD overcomes their technical limitations, enabling a more comprehensive electrical fire protection system for residential, commercial, and industrial sites—this is its core value.
Core Features
Dangerous arc identification: Using multi-frequency characteristic analysis technology, it can accurately distinguish arcs generated during normal load operation from fault arcs with safety hazards, avoiding misjudgment or missed judgment.
Millisecond-level rapid circuit breaking: Once the characteristic signal of a dangerous arc is detected, the device will automatically cut off the circuit within 300 milliseconds, preventing the risk of ignition caused by arc heat accumulation from the root.
Self-check and fault warning: It has a regular automatic detection mechanism. When the equipment is in an abnormal state or the circuit has aging problems, it will send out a warning signal by flashing the indicator light, which is convenient for timely troubleshooting and maintenance.
Comprehensive multi-protection: Based on arc fault protection, it further integrates overload protection, short-circuit protection and overvoltage protection functions to form a comprehensive protection system covering various electrical risks.
